Annual Report 2014
COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS
reinforced the road safety talk by working on this issue in the classrooms beforehand. These activities successfully raised the children’s awareness of the importance of using seat belts and safety helmets. In terms of results, the promoters agree that public attendance, which was around 50 adults, was better than expected. “It’s a nice number for this
environment”, says Verzelli. In part, the success lay in the fact that the talks were practical and clear on issues that are applicable to everyday life. And, most importantly, according to Verzelli, “people were very happy with them and keen for them to continue”.
